Leadership Alexandria is a leadership program created and led by the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce. The program is a learning experience that brings together a network of various community leaders to learn and grow from each other. By attending workshops and seminars and working hands-on with local agencies, these leaders gain a better insight of the City's organizations.
The Alexandria Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is hosted by the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce and is a community resource whose services are provided without charge. Since 1997 the SBDC has assisted new and existing businesses in a number of areas including Cash flow assessment and management, Managing accounts receivable & inventory, and Strategic planning/business planning, among other areas of sage advice.
Buy Alexandia Our Dollars Count is an educational and marketing campaign initiated by the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce. With our partners, the City of Alexandria, the Alexandria Economic Development Partnership, the Alexandria Convention and Visitor's Association and the Alexandria Small Businesses Development Center, we encourage the Alexandria community to buy in Alexandria so that we can strengthen the economic vitality of the City.
